Tablet-based multi-technology SON platform for analysing mobile network performance
In today’s broadband data intensive mobile market, together with the introduction of LTE, operators and equipment vendors need to be able to manage and improve wireless network quality continuously and proactively with minimal or no increase in OPEX costs. Today, LTE Self-Organising Networks (LTE-SON) technology is still in a nascent stage and does not completely retrofit to 2G and 3G technologies in a multi-vendor environment, so solutions such as iCOPS and COPS-SON have become critical to complete the missing link.
