TCO Certified brings sustainability to mobile devices

For a manufacturer, using a relevant product certification can be part of a smart sustainability strategy.”
During March-April, 26 models of notebook computers and tablets have met the new, advanced sustainability criteria in TCO Certified, the third party sustainability certification for IT products. The most recently certified products come from Dell and Lenovo.

In 2015, worldwide sales of computers totaled 281.6 million (IDC), compared to 318 million in 2014. Also in 2014, 216 million tablets and 1.8 billion mobile phones were sold (Gartner)
TCO Development has certified over 10,000 IT product models since 1992. Currently there are approximately 900 certified product models representing 30 brands.
