Telit turnkey IoT platform drives Swisscom IoT services
The turnkey IoT platform enables communications providers to offer end-to-end IoT services and rapid application development. It includes all the critical connection, management and integration functions for scalable and secure IoT deployments. Some key differentiators are built-in capabilities for connectivity management, remote device management, edge intelligence, enterprise integration, end-to-end security, custom app creation, dash boarding and big data analytics.
The cloud-based platform, powered by deviceWISE, is installed in the Swisscom data center, based in Switzerland.
The deviceWISE platform extends Swisscom’s service portfolio whereby Swisscom is adding Business Process Design, Predictive Analytics and ERP Integration centered on its customers’ connected ‘things’ under its System Integration Services. The IoT platform supplements the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for Swisscom customers. Swisscom recently launched its Application Cloud for developers. Swisscom aims to help its industrial customers develop game changing solutions that foster efficiency in daily processes, increase customer intimacy and enables business model innovation.
