Tested power plus board bundles for medical applications
The company is now offering matching combinations of high-quality power supplies and mainboards from AAEON, ASRock, Avalue, Fujitsu and Perfectron. Currently the company offers the service for 12 form factors. Bicker also supplies industrial grade processors, storage solutions, expansion cards and mass storage devices – including design-in advice and support – allowing customers to build a complete computer system from a single source.
For example, AAEON’s new industrial Mini-ITX mainboards MIX-Q370D1 and MIX-Q370A1 for 8th generation Intel Core Coffee Lake processors differ in interface equipment and power supply reqirements. Bicker Elektronik has bundles for each that include tested power supplies approved to international medical safety standards.
The MIX-Q370A1 can be bundled with medical PC power supplies MHG2-5300G-B1 (300 W), MHG2-5400G-B1 (400 W) or MHG2-5500G-B1 (500 W). The energy-efficient switch-mode power supplies have a wide-range input (90 to 264 VAC) with active PFC and comply with EN / UL / cUL 60601-1 (Edition 3.1) and CCC standards. No base load is required at the outputs, so the latest generation mainboards with special power-saving modes are supplied safely. This Power+Board combination makes it possible to enable powerful video management systems.
The MIX-Q370D1 uses a single DC power supply (+12V) and can be bundled with the BEO-2012M(C) (200 W) and BEO-3012M(C) (300 W) medical power supplies. The BEO power supply design features up to 94% efficiency and reliable 24/7 continuous operation in the extended temperature range. The AC/DC switch-mode power supplies have a wide-range input with active PFC and safety approvals IEC 60601-1:2005+A1:2012 (Edition 3.1), EN 60601-1:2006+A1:2013 (Edition 3.1), ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1:2005 (3rd Edition), as well as 2xMOPP classification. As an alternative to the integrated power supply, the BEO series offers a comprehensive range of external AC/DC desktop adapters with medical approval, such as BET-1012M (100 W).
