The DLP Symposium is a forum that aims to promote the dialogue between engineers, researchers, users, manufacturers, and distributors in the field of innovative advanced light control optical solutions that can serve new markets such as industrial, medical, telecom, and security.

During the event, TI continues, participants will learn about new advancements and market trends including 3-D machine vision, 3-D printing, spectroscopy, lithography, and display applications. The planned application sessions are aimed to showcase diverse fields of use for DLP technology and will feature innovative product concepts that have been successfully invented and introduced into the markets.

During the dedicated technical presentations, technology experts will delve into the challenging aspects of product development from light source selection, through electronics considerations, up to system integration aspects.

“This event is a great opportunity for Texas Instruments to update our customers and partners on industry and technology developments. We are excited to share with engineers and our customers how to innovate with DLP technology in new and emerging applications,” commented Mariquita Gordon, general manager of Texas Instruments DLP Embedded group.

TI has marketed its DLP technology, which is based on MEMS micro-mirror, individually-addressable arrays, for two decades. The company promotes the technology as a means of producing display devices that can deliver high-resolution images rich with colour, contrast, clarity and brightness for a wide range of applications, including industrial, automotive, medical and consumer market segments. In mobile devices with DLP Pico technology, users have the ability to display images from the palm of their hand. More at;
