TFT display optical optimization solution enables 80° viewing angle in all four directions
The new technology compensates the grey inversion of TFT displays and enlarges the viewing angle in all four viewing directions to values of 80° / 80° / 80° / 80°. A preferred viewing angle no longer needs to be considered. Up to now, such a characteristic would not have been feasible without considerably more expensive display technologies.
The technology enables to drive all displays in portrait-mode view (upright position) at an attractive price/performance ratio. Especially wide format (16:9 ) TFT displays with diagonals of 4.3“ / 5.0“ / 7.0“ in portrait mode are well-suited for a range of new applications such as human machine interfaces, measurement and medical technology, and also in studio technology.
