Thin film thermoelectric power generators deliver up to 50mW of DC power
Due to its compact size, ability to regulate voltage and store power, these products are suitable to power wireless sensors, low power LEDs or trickle charge batteries where a heat source is readily available. The company has two products on offer. The WPG-1 measures 35×38.65×27.06mm and is capable of producing up to 1mW of usable output power from a temperature differential ranging from 15 to 76°C. Output power can be regulated to accommodate three voltage set points: 3.3, 4.1 or 5.0V. The WPG-1S measures 34.99×38.65×35.54mm and delivers up to 50mW of output power from energy stored on a micro power module. It has a regulated output voltage of 3.3V. Custom design services are available to accommodate alternate heat absorption and heat dissipation mechanisms or output power requirements, however MOQ applies.
