Thinci changes name to Blaize
The company claims to have had customer engagements in automotive, smart vision and enterprise computing segments since 2018 but gave no reason for the name change.
The GSP is a graph-native processor architecture, which Blaize claims makes it relevant to all neural network implementations. The GSP is complemented by the Picasso software development platform which blends dynamic data flow methods and graph computing models with fully programmable proprietary SOCs.
In its nearly ten-year history Blaize has secured $87 million in funding from strategic and venture investors Denso, Daimler, SPARX Group, Samsung Catalyst Fund, Temasek, GGV Capital, SGInnovate, and Magna. Blaize has teams in Campbell (CA), Cary (NC), and subsidiaries in Hyderabad (India), Leeds and Kings Langley (UK), and more than employees worldwide.
