ThinCI seeks engineers: opens up two offices in UK
ThinCI used the services of the UK government’s Department for International Trade to help get it through the regulatory requirements and is creating 40 jobs in Leeds.
The company was founded in 2010 and raised $65 million in a Series C round of finance that closed earlier this year (see ThinCI raises $65 million in Series C).
ThinCI said it was attracted to the UK by the pool of hardware engineers and software programmers. It is notable that graphics processor IP licensor Imagination Technologies is headquartered in Kings Langley and the company went through a difficult transition to Chinese ownership over the last couple of years.
