This car is a blank slate

No autonomous driving, no navigation, no sensors, no steering correction, … but a very attractive price tag

The designers of the Slate car took a completely different approach. Where other companies try to differentiate their designs from others by adding more and more electronic tricks and gadgets. The Slate designers kept it pure and simple. You could say the Slate is a battery on wheels with steering and breaks.

That new approach also has another nice effect – the price of the car. The most basic version cost around 20,000 US dollars and if you want more, you can turn the car into anything you like, from a pick-up truck to an SUV.

I think I would like the most sober version best – just driving, window open and perhaps a radio?
