Three-phase and three-sense BLDC driver has the industry’s lowest standby current
The STSPIN233 has a standby current of under 80nA and can be put into standby mode under logic control. Powering the STSPIN233 requires an input-voltage range of 1.8V-10V, for example, a single Li-ion cell would suffice. The device also has many built-in safety features, including over-current, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection, UVLO, and interlocking.
A Nucleo expansion board (X-NUCLEO-IHM17M1) and related software tools (X-CUBE-SPN17 for STM32Cube) is available for STSPIN233 development.
The STSPIN233 is available now in a compact 3mm x 3mm QFN.
