The 4V A3K105BBJ106MR measures 1.0×0.5×0.5 mm and has a capacitance of 10 μF.

Three-terminal multilayer ceramic capacitors have a lower ESL than the popular two-terminal multilayer ceramic capacitors and are used as decoupling capacitors for power supply lines to reduce impedance in the high-frequency range and contribute to the stable operation of ICs that are driven at high speed. The thickness of the new ceramic capacitor has been reduced by approximately 23% compared to the previous A3K105KBJ106MV (1.0×0.5×0.65 mm contributing to the further reduction in thickness of small, thin digital devices such as nodes in the Internet of Things and wearables.

Production of the multilayer ceramic capacitor will commence at the company’s Tamamura Plant in Gunma Prefecture, Japan this month with 5 million units per month.
