TI unveils new, improved graphing calculators
Building on the company’s popular TI-Nspire CX line of graphing calculators, the new TI-Nspire CX II graphing calculators feature a 2-1/2 times faster processor, an updated modern look, and interactive math and coding features. The new features, says the company, are designed to help bring science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects to life for students, giving them more opportunities to visualize important, abstract concepts, not just in math class, but in science and computer programming courses.
“Students and teachers asked us to make their graphing calculator more responsive as they are using it increasingly to explore an array of complex STEM concepts,” says Peter Balyta, Ph.D., president of TI Education Technology. “Teachers who experience the new TI-Nspire CX II will immediately appreciate the improved visuals on the screen, faster processor and robust, new features that help students explore STEM.”

- Color, backlit display
