Tianma commercializes 5.5″ flexible AMOLED

Designed with a MIPI interface, the HD 720×1280 pixels display (part number TE055JFXA01) exhibited a luminance of 350cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 10000:1. The display unit is rated for operation in the -20 to +60ºC temperature range, viewing angle is specified at 80º from all directions, left, right, up and down. The company aims the display at flexible smartphones and tablets.
