Wenglor claims that the product family at hand is the only time-of-flight sensor available that offers the choice of Profinet, EtherCat or EtherNet/IP interfaces. The sensors are capable of communicating actively and can be addressed individually by the system. With this property they meet the highest conformity level CP44 for Industrie 4.0 environments.

 

Through its integrated web server the sensors can be accessed from anywhere in the internet, enabling remote maintenance and control. The plug-and-play feature as well as the integrated OLED display ensure ease of use.

 

The sensors measure distances between 0.1 and 10.1 metres and transfer the digitised measurement result though the Ethernet interface of choice to any downstream systems. A key feature is their capability to detect even black or glossy objects reliably even in extremely inclined positions. Through their PoE interface the sensors can be powered externally and do not require any battery or additional power supply.

 

The WinTec Transit Time Sensor is available in the following variants: OY2TA104P0150P (PROFINET), OY2TA104P0150C (EtherCAT) and OY2TA104P0150E (EtherNet/IP).
