Visitors can learn how to benefit from Arrow’s relationship with crowdfunding pioneer, Indiegogo. Working with Indiegogo, Arrow can put critical resources in the hands of entrepreneurs, such as components procurement and online design tools, and also to share its expertise in the journey from design to production.

There will also be the possibility to explore the comprehensive mixture of design tools, online engineering collaboration, reference designs and how-to content that Arrow is making available via its website.  The company said that it will also demonstrate a free, integrated, cloud-based version of the Cadence OrCAD Capture design solution that makes it easier for design engineers and makers to integrate component research and selection within their design environment.

With the Internet of Things becoming an essential element of many embedded projects, Arrow has developed a range of IoT solutions from individual components through modules, system on module (SoM) units, and more sophisticated proofs of concept. The Embedded World booth will feature a range of community boards together with Arrow’s own development modules including the SmartEverything IoT board, a prototyping platform for M2M applications, and a new entry-level variant of the ARIS IoT hardware and software platform.

Additionally, Arrow will be revealing how it can support companies beyond the edge of the IoT with higher level development, integration and management services. Particular focus will be given to the Arrow eVolve IoT tools and software suites. These cover hardware specification and system integration for IoT, implementation of Cloud data platforms and network maintenance. On display for the first time will be three new products in the 96Boards specification, which defines a series of standardized form factors and a choice of processors to meet different price points.
