Touch panels feature integrated embossed switches
The company has pioneered a method of forming embossed switches into the cover film of its FID-1320 series four-wire resistive touch panels to give a tactile click that is similar to mechanical switches. The technology allows a single panel to be used to integrate all the system’s buttons for a complete HMI solution.
Embossed switches are useful in cases where users have to wear gloves or there is a danger of liquid droplets, making the FID-1320 series ideal for use in food, medical or industrial environments. The panels are dust-and waterproof.
