Transparent electroluminescent displays from a designer’s perspective

They’ve come up with novel ideas about integrating the thin displays (obtained through atomic layer deposition), turning every household item into on-demand data feeds. In the applications envisaged by the students, window panes turns into contextual displays, a mug provides orientation in the office maze or a smart home is packed with the displays integrated into whiteware and furniture.
