Tridonic rolls Zhaga-compliant LED light engine
The Zhaga certification for the TALEXXengine STARK SLE Gen2 refers to the vendor’s CLASSIC modules LES 19 and LES 23 – in other words, for modules with a light emitting surface of 19 and 23mm. The entire system features a high CRI of > 90 for the SELECT products and > 80 for the CLASSIC products. With efficiencies of 140lm/W or 121lm/W respectively, these light engines are among the top performers in the competitive environment.
Thanks to integrated terminals, developed jointly with subsidiary Tridonic connection technology, the system is easy to connect. Luminaire manufacturers can use standard wires, no elaborate and costly cable harnesses are required. The terminals connect not only the power supply but also the circuitry for temperature monitoring.
Also new in Tridonics’ product spectrum is the MINI variant of the TALEXXengine STARK SLE with lighting emitting surfaces of 10mm and 17mm, respectively. These light engines enable very narrow radiation angles – even focused beams with a radiation angle of less than 10 degrees. Thus, they enable a focused light guidance at high contrast. The MINI LED modules feature a CRI of better than 80 and an efficiency of up to 119 lm/W.
The TALEXXengine STARK LE modules are now also available in versions for food lighting, featuring particular high CRI of > 90. They are obtainable in four nuances:
Gold: Emits brilliant, warm light at, particularly suited for pastry and similar goods.
Gold Plus: Emits brilliant light at a particular warm note. Makes crispy bakery products such as baguettes and croissants appear oven-fresh.
Fresh Meat: The slightly reddish light for deli departments. It emphasizes the red tones in sausage and meat without affect the white fibres, supporting an attractive presentation of such goods.
Meat Plus: Offers saturated red nuances for an appetizing appearance of meat and related goods. In contrast to the Fresh Meat variant, the Meat Plus nuance also makes white fibres appear in a reddish shade.
For all these products, the manufacturer offers a five-year warranty.
