In contrast to silicon-based LEDs, OLEDs are still in their infancy in terms of technology as well as in terms of market development. Nevertheless, Tridonic said it will show three OLED module families at the fair. With their homogeneous light and their extremely slim design they offer an excellent combination of optics, mechanics and electronics, Tridonic promises.

The Luceos ROP series has been designed with decorative lighting applications in mind. With its flexible design it can be used to implement elegant table lamps as well as for large-area effect lighting. The OLED module is offered as hexagonal and round tiles, both with integrated electronic driver circuitry with dimming function. The Luceos ROP series generates warm white light and is equipped with a magnetic restraint system which facilitates integrating the module into luminaries as well as the exchange.

The Lureon REM series features a particularly slim design of only 2.5mm which makes these modules ideal for filigree designer luminaries as well as for unobtrusive area lighting. Aiming at innovative architectural and office lighting applications, this series has been developed for innovative lighting concepts. Available in quadratic and rectangular versions, the REM series can be combined with an adaptive driver system. With their slim design, the REM modules are ideal for integration into furniture or presentation walls.

The Lureon REP bring organic lighting to high-brightness applications. The square module represents an integrated OLED system with high luminance and efficiency. Key to this high performance is the optimized diffuse output optical system. Lureon REP modules can be used at any applications where professional homogeneous light is required. Typical applications are professional linear luminaires as well as square light surfaces in a wide range of sizes. Several different mechanical integration solutions facilitate the implementation of powerful large-area lighting applications. Like in the Lureon REM series, adaptive driver systems are obtainable to easily integrate the OLED modules.
