The development contract is worth €700,000 (about $760,000) and is with a “leading supplier of gas sensors for industrial applications,” Tronics said in a statement but did not reveal the identity of the second party. The contract is expected to result in pilot production of optical gas detectors in 2017.
“This contract demonstrates our ability to diversify our activities in the industrial market and makes Tronics the ideal partner for the industrialisation of products with high added value”, said Pascal Langlois, CEO of Tronics, in a statement.
