
TSMC starts 2021 with strong sales growth

January sales at TSMC climbed by 22.2 percent year-on-year to NT$126.75 billion (about US$4.52 billion). This was a larger annual uplift than any in the previous three months. The figure was up sequentially 8.0 percent.
Sales at neighbouring foundry United Microelectronics Corp. were NT$15.53 billion (about US$554 million), up 10.2 percent year-on-year.
