TTI Europe to tap into European military market with newly QPL-approved assembly services
The new European operation is QPL-approved for Amphenol’s MIL-DTL38999 Series I and III, and SJT circular connectors, offering all shell sizes, layouts types in cadmium olive drab and electroless nickel plated finishes. TTI also offers all required connector accessories including, backshells/adapters, boots, contacts, terminals, and heat shrink tubing. Having invested in modern tooling and training, the company hopes to cut lead times from several weeks to about 4 days for custom European orders. The distributor is also undergoing qualification to deliver assembly services for the Series I and Series III 38999 circular connectors from Souriau, aimed at extreme environments. TTI will not only be assembling the Aluminium Nickel and Olive Drab Cadmium plating types (F/W) but also Green Zinc Cobalt (ZC) and the new Black Zinc Nickel (Z) products to comply with the latest RoHS directives. In the near future, TTI will also be supporting the Stainless Steel firewall (K/S) and Composite (M/J) shells from Souriau.
