TTTech and Tieto strike strategic partnership for TTEthernet industrial networking
TTTech’s role in this cooperative effort will be to contribute its expert knowledge in the area of reliable time-triggered networks, while Tieto’s most important contribution will be its application and integration know-how. The goal of this partnership is to work together with customers world-wide in the area of industrial networking with TTEthernet, and to offer scalable, safe solutions as well as more efficient development. Tieto will focus primarily on customization, hardware and software, integration, network migration, network management software and network configuration of TTEthernet technology, while TTTech provides TTEthernet standard products.
In addition to its use in industrial areas, for example medical or energy technology, TTEthernet is suitable for applications in aerospace as well as for the automotive and commercial vehicle industries. Based on experiences in several aviation programs and other industries, TTTech developed this Ethernet solution fulfilling the highest requirements with regard to safety and scalability.
