After almost a decade of searching the Newport Landfill he is now considering buying it
A tragic story it is. James Howells once owned a hard disk with GBP 600 million worth of bitcoin. By accident it was thrown out and landed in the Newport Landfill (South Wales). He must have gone through the rubble a hundred times hoping to find it, unsuccessfully. Now there is a new opportunity – he might be able to buy the landfill and probably spent the rest of his life digging up the HD. He certainly is giving Bitcoin Mining a completely new meaning. Read Slashdot or The Guardian to get a feel of the full drama.
