Ultra low phase noise in SUB-L package
The SMV0770A-LF operates from 750 to 790 MHz within a tuning voltage range of 0 to 2.5 Vdc. This low cost VCO features unmatched phase noise performance of -106 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and covers the frequency range with an average sensitivity of 44 MHz/V.
The SMV0770A-LF is designed to deliver 1±2 dBm of output power into a 50Ω load while operating over the industrial temperature range of -40 to 85°C. The VCO is further enhanced by saving precious energy. It consumes a minimal 13 mA of current while operating off a 3.0 Vdc supply.
The SMV0770A-LF features a typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -10 dBc and comes in Z-Comm’s industry standard SUB-L package measuring 7.62- x 7.62 x 2.03-mm (0.3- x 0.3- x 0.08-inches). It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The VCO is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
The device is well suited for mobile communication applications that require exceptional phase noise performance and low power consumption.
