Unipower extends warranty to three years for key front-end and rectifier families
Designed to power a wide range of applications in telecoms, data center networks and high-end commercial and industrial systems where high reliability is paramount, Unipower’s front-end and rectifier families include class-leading high density, hot swap units as well as 19in power shelves capable of driving rack-mount systems. Many are also now available with a high voltage DC (HVDC) input option.
The Unipower product families which now come with a three-year warranty are the Radian, BLUEstreak, Ranger, Sigma, Slimline760 and Auro Series.
The Auro-he Series modular front-ends and rectifiers are capable of producing up to 1500 W from a 1U high enclosure. They are hot swappable, high efficiency (92%) units featuring a power density of 18.75 W/in³ and output voltages of 48 VDC and 54.4 VDC. A 5 V/1 A standby output is also included across the series.
Slimline760 Series 760W Front-Ends are 1U high and feature a power density of 17.5 W/in³ with efficiency levels to 92%. Output voltages are 12V DC and 5 VSB.
BLUEstreak high-density, hot swappable modular rectifiers and front-ends can provide up to 2000 W from a 1U high package at power densities as high as 24 W/in³ and efficiency levels to 92% at 75% load. Output voltages range from 12 to 54.4 VDC.
Ranger hot-swappable power supplies are available in several power output versions capable of providing up to 100 A for the 12 V model. Ranger modules provide output voltages from 12 to 54.4 V. With a height of just 3.5in or 2U and a power density of up to 11 W/in³, three Ranger modules can be accommodated in a 19in rack mount system.
Available as front-ends or rectifiers, Sigma modules provide output voltages of 12, 13.6, 24, 27.2, 48 or 54.4 VDC. An isolated 5 V, 100 mA standby output is included. Maximum output power per module is between 300 and 650 W which equates to a power density of up to 11.2 W/in³.
The Radian Series includes 19 hot-swappable modular rectifiers producing up to 1360 W. These offer high power density (up to 17W/in³) in a 1U format and can be housed together in a 19in power shelf to provide up to 4080 W.
