Vector Informatik purchases Timing-Architects
Stuttgart-based Vector Informatik claims the acquisition will allow it to offer a more comprehensive portfolio of multi-core real-time solutions. The two companies already had a strong relationship before Vector bought 49% of Timing-Architects’ shares in 2016. That cooperation enabled the two companies to maximise the compatibility of Vector’s MICROSAR AUTOSAR software and Timing-Architects’ TA Tool Suite. Vector is also a global TA Tool Suite provider.
Dr. Thomas Beck, managing director of Vector Informatik GmbH, said: “Timing-Architects has created an ideal support tool for multi-core systems. Thanks to the integration of TA, ECU developers and vehicle manufacturers will have a comprehensive solution from a single source.”
TA’s team will remain in the company’s Regensburg location, where Vector also has an office. The company will continue to develop TA Tool Suite and further integrate it into Vector’s DaVinci Configurator Pro and PREEvision tools.
The TA Tool Suite allows the analysis and optimisation of multi-core systems to minimise runtime losses and ensure a more reliable and efficient system.
