Vertical PCB-mount sockets for circular connectors
These can be selectively equipped with external threads for fixing to a housing wall (connector type ‘WG’) or free-standing (connector type ‘WH’). Both variants are screwed to the printed circuit board to absorb the forces generated through push-in and pull-out.
These sockets are also shorter than competitive products, claims the manufacturer, a nut can optionally be installed to yield the same installation dimensions in the case of screwing to the housing wall (connector type “WG”). This allows greater flexibility in utilisation of the installation space, and if necessary increases stability. The connectors are available with various pin assignments in various sizes. The online configurator can be used for correct compilation of the type number. Samples are also delivered for testing the new design in development work.
