Headquartered in the UK, Firefly Technology plans to work with Vicor’s distributors to identify sales opportunities and penetrate new markets. Firefly Technology brings to Vicor keen insight into the Northern European market, and provides its customers with invaluable technical guidance at every stage in the system development cycle, from concept to final design.
Firefly, which has ongoing representative agreements with AMD, International Rectifier, Pixelworks, Maxlinear, likes to take full responsibility for marketing and demand creation in a region. The Hampshire-based company aims to act as an outsourced sales and support team and typically adopts a whole product eco systems from brand sales through evaluation boards to software development kits and third party tools.
