VxWorks 653 now available for ARM Architecture

VxWorks 653 was tested and validated on the ARM Cortex-A53 (Xilinx UltraScale + MPSoC). The release gives full 64-bit support for the virtualisation layer and unmodified guest operating systems such as VxWorks 7 and Linux.

With ARM technology being increasingly found in edge computing and high-performance applications, the ARM Cortex-A53 processor is being chosen for defence, aerospace, and ruggedised embedded applications for use in space. VxWorks 653 support for Arm architecture is part of a commitment to customers to support their demands for affordable mission-critical and safety certifiable applications.
