Waterproof remote control system extends home automation outdoors
Operating in the license-free 868MHz band, the receiver is housed in a rugged IP68 enclosure designed to be installed permanently outdoors. The unit is wall mountable and provides a choice of 10 cable entry points for ease of installation. Each of the four outputs can be set to operate in timed, momentary or latching mode.
The transmitter buttons can be configured to control any relay in the receiver using RF Solutions “Easy Learn” process. Additional transmitters can be ordered, and paired with an existing system. The receiver provides an easy to use sync/pair button allowing one-press auto pairing, and also has an in-built signal test mode, timer set and erase buttons. As well as system status LED indicators to show all functions. RF Solutions is also able to supply the 4-channel receiver unit separately.
The standard Elite remote control has a range of 500m, which is more than adequate for most domestic or small commercial applications. For applications requiring longer range, the ELITE-X family operates over distances of up to 2km.
