Welsh PMIC startup joins California incubator

Silicon Catalyst acts as a hub to direct service and product suppliers to promising startups and provide services-in-kind and has deals with such firms as Bosch, Keysight Technologies, Soitec, Synopsys and TSMC to support startups.

Trameto is developing a power management IC (PMIC) for use with multiple energy harvesting sources that it calls HarvestAll.

The other newly admitted companies include: Beam Semiconductor Ltd. (Rehovot, Israel), working on 60GHz/28GHz phased array transceiver; Digital Light Inc (San Jose, Calif.) which is developing light field sensor and camera; Dover Microsystems Inc. (Waltham, Mass.) a startup addressing hardware security with dedicated IP; and SigmaSense LLC (Austin, Texas) a developer of concurrent haptic actuation and sense technology.
