Sensor Fusion is one of the key technologies enabling Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It is implemented as a software solution that collects together data provided by a disparate range of sensors to provide a single, consistent picture of the environment around the vehicle.

By partnering with the established automotive microcontroller supplier Infineon, a partnership has formed that eases the implementation of Sensor Fusion while, thanks to AURIX, ensures that the expected levels of robust automotive quality, reliability, and system determinism in the ECU are retained, and tool investments continue to be amortized.
