The surface mount HY series features 15pF load LVCMOS output from 1.25 to 50.0MHz over the -40 to +125°C temperature range and offers options of ±50 and ±100ppm frequency stability. Frequency stability of ±25ppm over commercial (-10 to +70°C) and industrial (-40 to +85°C) ranges is also available. Non-standard frequency stability specifications are available from MEC if required.

The new range of devices have phase noise characteristics of -155dBc/Hz at 10kHz and -160dBc/Hz at 100kHz offset, and come in three package sizes; 3.2 x 2.5 x1.0mm, 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.2mm and 7.0 x 5.0 x 1.4mm with 1.8, 2.5 and 3.3V supply voltages respectively. Typical current consumption is 2 to 4mA from 1.25 to 19.99MHz and 4 to 6mA from 20.0 to 50.0MHz depending on package size.

Typical RMS phase jitter is 150fs (12kHz to 20MHz integrated). Specifications include ageing of ±2.0ppm/year maximum for first year, start-up time of 5.0ms maximum, rise/fall time of 10ns maximum and duty cycle (symmetry) of 50% ±10% typical with ±5% available as an option.
