Wireless lighting control module integrates existing fixtures
The 40x36x14mm unit enables full lighting control at the price of a built-in dimmer by automatically forming a Bluetooth based wireless mesh network with multiple modules and other Casambi products to control the scene with a smart phone, tablet, or traditional wall switches.
This removes the need for routers, gateways or network configurations.
The CBU-TED is installed within minutes and designed to be easily integrated behind traditional wall switches or in the basis of a luminaire while avoiding the complexity and difficulties of getting traditional costly dimmers to work with existing fixtures.
Once installed, the unit connects to the smart phone automatically and can be controlled via the free Casambi-App, supporting the dimming of single or multiple luminaires with simple touch gestures and set up scenes with several luminaires in them.
Up to 255 different scenes can be created with up to 127 Casambi units in each scene. All the luminaires in one scene can have different light levels, colours and colour temperatures, with programmable timers to turn on and off the scenes. There are four different security levels for access control and configuration.
