The partnership will allow iWave to provide a completely secure embedded platform that can be optimized to meet performance specifications specified by customers.

IoT devices are often deployed in remote environments and deal with sensitive user information, which makes them highly vulnerable to attacks. iWave Systems is taking measures to address the security challenges in IoT devices with turnkey security mechanisms that ensure complete reliability and value to end applications. To enable advanced and secure applications in customer products, collaboration with trusted partners like wolfSSL is integral to our go-to-market strategy.” says Abdullah Khan, Director-Engineering, iWave Systems Technologies.

The wolfSSL embedded SSL/TLS library has been developed to offer a lightweight, portable, C-based SSL/TLS library that is targeted at IoT, embedded, and RTOS applications. WolfSSL offers an advanced feature set, along with a compact size and high performance to allow the libraries to work seamlessly in many different environments.

The combination of iWave devices and the wolfSSL stack provide are a well-balanced solution that can be deployed in connected applications and will be supported by iWave’s engineering team to assist users through product development and deployment cycles. iWave’s software service includes stack integration, configuration optimization, and application development, allowing customers to deploy solutions faster and get to market quicker for IoT solutions.

The wolfSSL support will allow iWave customers to gain access to a number of key differentiators, including FIPS and DO-178 support for critical applications, the first commercial implementation of TLS 1.3, feasibility of integration with the entire wolfSSL product suite including secure boot, OpenSSL compatibility APIs, and 24×7 support.
