Emerging brand Koorui is launching the world’s first monitor screen with a 750Hz refresh using quantum dots.

The consumer-grade 24.5in G7 monitor compensates for the colour defects of the twisted nematic (TN) panels with a quantum dot film. This provides a wide colour gamut of up to 95% of the DCI-P3 colour space and a response time of 0.5ms.

The Chinese brand is a subsidiary of glass producer, monitor and TV maker HKC, and the Koorui brand was launched in 2021 with a focus on smart electronics. It sees growing demand on ever-smoother performance for e-sports players, and traditional monitors with refresh rates of 144Hz, 240Hz, or even 480Hz are no longer sufficient to meet the expectations of top-tier gamers.

Koorui has scheduled the mass production of the G7 model in 2025 after the launch at the CES Consumer Electronics Show 2025 next week, with a global launch planned.

Koorui will also show a lineup of OLED gaming monitors such the 480Hz OG32UK UHD gaming monitor and the 49in DQHD GS49UK ultra-wide gaming monitor with a high fresh rate.
