X-Ware brings industrial grade connectivity to the smart home
The X-Ware IoT Platform is based on Express Logic’s ThreadX RTOS and NetX Duo dual IPv4/IPv6 TCP/IP stack and can provide industrial-grade implementations of 6LoWPAN, CoAP and DTLS.
Thread certification will give developers confidence in the compliance and interoperability of the X-Ware IoT Platform and its related software products. Testing to the standard involves validating each device’s conformance against a blended network of four reference stacks. Compliance to the Thread process and standards is regulated by UL.
The X-Ware IoT Platform automatically scales to use what each application requires, making it suitable for small, low-power IoT designs. ThreadX and NetX Duo also offer the highest levels of safety, having certification to IEC 61508 SIL 4, IEC 62304 Class C, ISO 26262 ASIL D, EN 50128 SW-SIL 4, UL 60730-1 Annex H, CSA E60730-1 Annex H, IEC 60730-1 Annex H, 60335-1 Annex R, and IEC 60335-1 Annex R, 1998.
