Xilinx Vitis software platform available to download

Vitis has been developed to allow those unfamiliar with FPGA technology to access Xilinx’s hardware using software tools and frameworks they are already familiar with. The platform allows engineers to accelerate their applications using the Xilinx adaptive hardware, with no previous hardware expertise. Vitis plugs into common software developer tools and uses open source libraries that have been optimised for Xilinx hardware. Xilinx has also developed a site to assist developers by providing access to examples, tutorials and documentation, as well as access to a dedicated developer community.
