ZF expands development and production of safety electronics in Poland
The new plant is scheduled to launch production by the end of 2019; at full capacity, the plant will employ over 300 persons.
ZF also recently expanded its electronics development activities in Poland with the opening of a new technical center in Lodz. The center was officially opened in October and offers space for 200 engineers and technicians. Offices and electronic laboratories are located in the center next to the company’s existing electronics development center in Czestochowa, which has been in existence for more than 10 years and employs about 350 associates.
ZF employs a total of around 8,000 people in Poland, of whom about 6,300 are currently working in production and administration at the Czestochowa site. The site is also responsible for the production of airbag modules and seat belts.
