ZTE uses Skyworks for all-in-one connected car
Innovative LTE and connectivity products from Skyworks help transform cars into rolling Wi-Fi hotspots, enabling vehicle tracking, diagnostics, safety and security features. To support the numerous wireless protocols and frequency bands required by advanced wireless networks, ZTE’s system relies on integration expertise from Skyworks to deliver a comprehensive solution.

According to a 2017-2025 forecast from Transparency Market Research, on-board diagnostics are expected to see the fastest growth within the connected car, as these ports provide direct access to the internal, most sensitive and critical systems in an automobile. BI Intelligence estimates that connected car revenue from providing these types of systems will grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 29 percent globally from 2015 to 2020.
