Zumtobel introduces LED solution for Tecton lighting strip system
With its operating life of 50.000 hours at 70 % luminous flux, the Tecton LED solution offers the chance to lower energy and service costs. At the same time, the vendor guarantees high light yields of up to 80 % at a luminous flux of more than 5000 lm. Since the LED system is entirely compatible with the existing Tecton product family, it is possible to exchange T16 or T26 luminaires against the new LED system. This feature set expands the Tecton application range to refurbishment projects seeking for a modern, energy efficient and lasting lighting solution.
For the LED system, four different optical systems are available that meet a broad spectrum of requirements and makes it suitable for deployment in supermarkets as well as manufacturing halls or logistics centres. Available are a Narrow Beam, Wide Beam, Double Wallwasher and Wallwasher optical system. The LED luminaire has been designed by Billing Jackson Design and offers a much reduced appearance. The light strips now have no longer visible joints; instead the light leads through the space without any interruption. Also the installation has been significantly simplified.
