Promoting a circular economy, UK-based company Circular Computing claims to be the world’s first computer re-manufacturer, that is, refurbishing enterprise-grade discarded laptops into brand new products ready for a second life.

“We were thrilled to announce this collaboration to the world recently. And now we’ve taken our first delivery we are proud to say sustainable, affordable and environmentally-friendly laptops are available to buy in Denmark. We share Circular Computing’s vision; this is a world first and we’re delighted to be involved”, said Jan Roedahl, CEO of Elitecom.

Organizations across the world which opt for these to replace their existing laptops have already saved millions of dollars, helping to reduce carbon emissions, preserve the earth’s dwindling resources and prevent a mountain of e-waste. Circular Computing invests a percentage of its profits into high impact, clean-energy environmental and social initiatives in India and Africa. Working together with WeForest, a Belgian NGO, and One Tree Planted, Circular Computing plants five trees for every laptop sold.
