Custom UV LEDs and modules in the 320 to 233nm band
Together with the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, UVphotonics has developed UV LEDs emitting in the UVB and UVC wavelength regions for sensing, phototherapy and plant growth lighting.

The partners develop and manufactures LEDs emitting in the UVB (280 to 320nm) and the UVC (230 to 280nm) spectral regions, with customizable wavelengths and low operation voltages. The UV LEDs can be rapidly switched and dimmed while being robust and compact, making them suitable for applications such as water purification, disinfection, medical diagnostics, phototherapy, plant growth, UV curing, and sensing. The UVB LEDs output up to 30mW 350mA and the 265nm UVC LEDs output over 25mW at 350mA. UVphotonics offers customizable LEDs, tailoring the emission wavelength, emission area and spatial emission characteristics to meet to application-specific requirements.
