As part of the agreement, Mouser is stocking the company’s low-power SensiBLE IoT edge module and accompanying SensiBLE development kit with integrated debugger, which enable designers to reduce the length of IoT prototyping cycles through the combination of the module’s embedded IoT software and hardware both provided by STMicroelectronics (ST).
The SensiEDGE SensiBLE IoT module features a suite of sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, and a microcontroller in one of the world’s tiniest system-on-board solutions. The Bluetooth- and FCC/IC-certified module is a combination of four ST Nucleo development boards, with the heart of the module containing the STM32L476RG Arm Cortex-M4 32-bit microcontroller for running the software. Ideal for environmental applications, it features a relative humidity with temperature sensor, pressure sensor, digital RGB/IR and ambient light sensor with color detection, plus a digital microphone. Additionally, dedicated apps and a software development kit (SDK) for the iOS and Android enable communication with the SensiBLE module to begin reading sensor values; unique customer apps can also be developed.
The module is powered using a coin cell battery (which can be extended to a rechargeable battery via minimal changes), mini USB or external power. It is supported by a SensiBLE Development Kit, which features an integrated debugger, Arduino-compatible headers, and PC connectivity.
