Rutronik presents ultra-fast rectifiers from Vishay
Vishay FRED Pt rectifiers significantly increase the power density, efficiency and reliability of applications. They are available in a thermally efficient FlatPAK 5x6 housing with a low overall height of less than one millimeter.

The rectifiers are available in commercial/industrial and automotive versions with either 2x3A or 2x4A forward current. Their high power density and efficiency make them ideal for automotive and telecommunications applications. The long-term reliability of the rectifiers is guaranteed by 2000 hours HTRB (High Temperature Reverse Bias) test.

Their configuration as dual-die rectifiers with separate cathode terminals in one housing allows designers to simplify printed circuit boards. By using a 5x6 QFN package (Quad Flat No Lead) with a standard footprint, different circuit topologies are possible.

A low voltage drop down to 0.7V reduces power losses and improves efficiency. In addition, FRED Pt rectifiers offer 200V reverse voltage, ultra-fast recovery times of up to 25ns, low reverse recovery charge and soft recovery capabilities. The

Operating temperature range is between -55 °C and +175 °C.

The rectifiers are RoHS-compliant, halogen-free and have an MSL moisture sensitivity of 1, the maximum LF peak is +260 °C.
