Tektronix joins MOST Cooperation
Measurement equipment manufacturer Tektronix has announced that it has joined the MOST Cooperation. MOST is the de-facto standard for infotainment data networks in the automotive industry. Tektronix said through the move it can offer better services to infotainment designers challenged by complex measurement tasks connected with short time-to-market.

The membership to the MOST cooperation enables Tektronix to develop custom solutions for the automotive infotainment industry and have them certified. Tektronix already offers products supporting PHY tests as well as hardware-based triggers and decoding mechanisms for automotive-specific data bus systems such as CAN, LIN and FlexRay. One can assume that in the near future Tektronix will complement its product spectrum by supporting the same features for the MOST Physical Layer.

At the upcoming MOST Forum, Tektronix already plans to introduce measurement solutions for the infotainment segment. Among other, the company announced to introduce a mixed-domain oscilloscope as well as a MOST analysis function, implemented in its DPO7000 oscilloscope family.

The MOST Forum will take place on March 20 in Esslingen near Stuttgart (Germany).
