Universal voltage integrated LED engine as a retrofit for luminaires
Lighting sub-systems provider Fulham has developed new universal voltage versions of its DirectAC direct-drive LED Engines for European OEMs and distributors, in low-profile, self-contained units with an integrated driver that can support voltage supplies from 120 to 277Vac.

Integrating the driver on the circuit board makes the Vizion DirectAC LED engine more versatile and cost-efficient. Since this newest DirectAC LED Engine supports universal voltage, it’s well suited for retrofits as well as new installations. The Vizion DirectAC LED Engines are available in 10W, 15W, 23W, and 34W circular configurations as well as a 15W rectangular configuration. They offer a lumen maintenance of L70>54,000 hours, with a colour consistency of 3 SDCM and a variety of colour temperatures with 80CRI and 90CRI options, making them ideal for replacing fluorescents. The units are leading/trailing edge dimmable from 100% down to 10% and to reduce flicker, the Vizion DirectAC Engines have additional circuitry for compatibility with 50/60Hz power supply. Flicker is below 30% when operated at line voltage which meets most standards requirements for low flicker. All units are suitable for installation in dry and damp locations, indoor or outdoor.
