KULR teams for datacentre cooling
US power material developer Kulr has signed a strategic partnership with a long-standing Nvidia integration partner for its technology in datacentre technology shipping from Taiwan.
EDOM Technology will use the Kulr Xero Vibe (KXV) and Kulr ONE product lines to address the need for large-scale systems cooling within the AI ecosystem.
The partnership will enable Kulr to service both server and edge computing devices within the AI supply chain while deploying its suite of energy management products and solutions to meet the needs of the entire AI ecosystem.
This comes as the company is focussing more on IP licensing and test services
- Kulr to test COTS batteries in orbit
- Swedish carbon fibre heatsink IP for bitcoin, datacentres
- ARM boost from $100bn Stargate datacentre project
KXV is a self-balancing software that reduces vibrations and improves the efficiency of motors and so can reduce power losses. This has been integrated with Nvidia’s Jetson edge AI systems for vibration mitigation for edge AI applications. Kulr has also licensed KVX to a leading Japanese corporation specializing in systems integration and advanced semiconductor designs to balance industrial-scale fan systems for data center cooling, HVAC, and other industrial applications.
Kulr One is a battery pack technology that uses the company’s Thermal Runaway Shield (TRS) technology for passive propagation resistance (PPR), making backup systems safeer in the event of a thermal runaway.
“Our partnership with EDOM underscores our commitment to scaling our AI solutions to meet the growing demands of the industry,” said Michael Mo, CEO of KULR Technology Group. “EDOM’s deep-rooted relationship with Nvidia and extensive expertise in the AI supply chain make them an ideal partner to integrate and distribute our technologies, such as the KXV and Kulr One, across the region.”
“With our shared focus on innovation and a commitment to driving progress, this collaboration with EDOM empowers us to deliver cutting-edge technologies, from thermal management solutions to AI-optimized products like the Jetson AI platform, to the rapidly expanding AI supply chain.”
